July 4th Themed Play Date | Tuscora Park, New Philadelphia

“Play Dates” are a little different when one mom is a photographer!

I wanted to do a July 4th shoot with my kids, so why not include some of our friends! I am normally not a fan of being too organized when I want to do shoots like this because they honestly never go as planned. HAHA

This year, we had a play date scheduled. I told everyone to wear their best RED, WHITE, AND BLUE — it's almost like they can sense what clothes will make them look good or something! The kids met at our local park before heading off together on this adventure of ours (which also happened involve some serious popsicle-eating).

Us moms got to sneak in a few minutes of adult conversation and catch up on life while the kids were preoccupied! In the end, everyone had a great time and we came away with some beautiful photos.

Next year, I think we'll have to plan ahead a little better... but that's half the fun, right?

After our mini photoshoot, we enjoyed a couple of the rides at the park to cap off the fun! Tuscora Park had a wide variety of rides for kids of all ages:

+ Ferris Wheel
+ Mini Rollercoaster
+ Carousel
+ Large Swings
+ Train
+ Miniature Golf

FOR THE LITTLES:

+ Airplanes
+ Dune Buggies
+ Sky Fighters

If you want to spend a hot summer day at the park, there is also a pool!

Overall, we had a great time at the park and we're glad we got to experience it together. I always appreciate my dear friends for putting up with me! AND Thanks for such a fun evening!

If you can I give this a 10/10 Highly recommend it, add mini photoshoots to your play dates!

PS. Poor Reece was a little under the weather and didn’t get to join us.
