Smith Family \\ Atwood Beach Summer Photos
This blog post features a recent session of the Smith Family, and they are LITERALLY #FamilyGoals.
If you donโt believe me, just take a little look ๐ (I didnโt even count how many photos I added to this post), but scroll slowly because you donโt want to miss any of the magic that was made.
Over 1,300 photos were taken in the making of this gallery... LIKE HOLY MOLY that is clearly a new record for me as a family photographer. If you arenโt sure about that quantity sometimes a wedding photographer can take that amount or even less. And for a typical family session with me, that is 60-90 minutes I can take about 600-700 images. So yeah, itโs a lot!
When this gallery was delivered to momma there will be a total of 270 images, yes some of those images are in color and Black and white (so there are duplicates). But I do my very best to give only the best of the best. And I do my very best to not overwhelm families when they open their galleries.
BUT TELL ME THIS!!
How on earth do you eliminate photos when you LOVE every single one?
This means of course I got the gallery down as small as I could, and I finally got to the place where I said to myself, โstop, give momma all the photos.โ
I think I say it a lot, but if this is your first time here, I am going to say it as loud as possible.
Let your kids be kids, let them run, let them talk, and let them explore.
You might think they are crazy, and you will hear me say during our session together:
โThey are greatโ
โDonโt worry about them.โ
โWe are going to let them leadโ
When parents are present with their children, even if you internally thinking this is chaos.
