This session was a complete surprise for Gary and Kay, it was all organized by their grandkids.
We met at their country home, a beautiful spread of land that has been in their family for generations. We walked the property, taking in the rich farmland and the pristine forest beyond. They told me stories of the many happy years they'd spent here together, and of the difficult times they'd faced. But through it all, their love for each other had never wavered. They had truly found the secret to a lasting marriage.
After we said our goodbyes, I couldn't help but feel inspired by their example.
They had been married for 65 years and it was clear that they still loved each other deeply. Seeing them together made me realize that it was possible to find that same kind of enduring love. It filled me with hope and made me determined to find my own soulmate. I know that it won't be easy, but their example has shown me that it is definitely possible. And for that, I will be forever grateful.
